Gearworks Appoints Wireless Industry Luminaries to its Board of Directors
Keith Kostuch (ALLTEL) and Roger Dorf (Cisco) Bring a Wealth of Wireless Industry and Insider Experience to Leader in Carrier-Delivered, Location-Based Mobile Applications
MINNEAPOLIS — March 6, 2008 — Gearworks, a leading provider of location-based mobile business applications, announced today it has added Keith Kostuch, former senior vice president of strategic planning for ALLTEL Corporation, and Roger Dorf, vice president and general manager of Cisco’s Broadband Wireless Unit, to its Board of Directors.

Keith Kostuch served as senior vice president of strategic planning at ALLTEL, America’s largest wireless network, until February 2008. During his tenure he was responsible for a broad range of strategic, technology and operational functions and initiatives including leading the centralization of ALLTEL’s procurement and logistics. Previously, he was vice president and director at The Boston Consulting Group, a leading global management consulting firm, where his client focus was high technology and telecommunications companies.
Roger Dorf has extensive carrier experience spanning the globe and several generations of technology. He currently serves as vice president and general manager of Cisco’s Broadband Wireless Unit and was president and CEO for Navini Networks, a leader in WiMAX networking solutions, prior to its acquisition by Cisco in December 2007. Previous posts include vice president and general manager of Nortel Network’s Broadband Access Business Unit (formerly Promatory), president of AT&T Network Systems for the Caribbean and Latin American region, and executive vice president and chief operating officer at AT&T Paradyne.
