7:00 AM: Monica arrives at her first patient’s house. Auto-launch starts the Gearworks application on her phone.
7:00 AM: Her company sees her log in and uses their healthcare dispatch system to send Monica information about her first visit through the Gearworks’ application right to her phone.
8:00 AM: Monica uses her mobile phone to record the details of her visit on forms found in Gearworks, and then heads out to her next appointment.
8:00 AM: Her company receives the forms Monica filled out including information about the time spent with the patient and care provided.
12:00 PM: Monica clocks out for lunch right from her phone.
1:00 PM: Monica clocks back in and heads to her next visit.
2:00 PM: Monica is stuck in traffic. She alerts her patient using one-button calling from the patient information page in the Gearworks’ software.
2:00 PM: Her office has received an alert that she has not arrived, and has pinpointed her location. The office calls to make sure that she is okay.
4:30 PM: Monica leaves her last patient visit of the day. The Gearworks application automatically clocks her out.
4:30 PM: Monica’s hours are fed through the Gearworks application to her company’s payroll system for processing. Gearworks runs automatic reports about Monica’s day, including miles and areas traveled, patients visited, and time spent on care. The reports are emailed to a company administrator.
