Gearworks Names Craig Knighton Vice President of Engineering
Tech veteran brings technology platform development experience to leader in location-based mobile business applications
MINNEAPOLIS — Jan. 16, 2008 — Gearworks, a leading provider of location-based mobile business applications, announced today it has named Craig Knighton vice president of engineering. Knighton will lead the company’s product development efforts.

Prior to joining Gearworks, Knighton was the vice president of product development at HighJump Software, a 3M company, where he introduced Agile Development and led the company’s platform effort to provide enterprise-ready applications. Recently, Knighton presented the keynote address at the Minnesota Developers Conference to highlight the software platform work occurring at 3M.
